Glenn Beck: “Jon Stewart’s Message was the Same as Mine”
Earlier this week, Beck said that his message was the same as Stewart’s ending note at the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear.
He says his message at his rally was a message of acceptance with “more God” and “whether you’re left or right, you need to forget about party partisanship.”
Beck then went on to break the rally down by politics and part; saying Stewart has become a “mouthpiece” for the Democratic Party and has been co-opted by the liberal likes of Ariana Huffington and Barack Obama.
Mr. Beck: You are a news anchor on Fox News. You called the 215,000 people at the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear “communists” and “socialists” and have repeatedly drawn mustaches on Barack Obama, calling him a fascist and a socialist. THIS IS NOT WHAT I WOULD CALL REACHING ACROSS THE AISLE. Earlier today, you said about the West Coast election results to “dig Nevada out of the country” and “cut the California star off the Flag.” Your message could not possibly have been the same as Jon Stewart’s, because his was an appeal to stop you. Wake up.
